This summer is heating up.

Forget the Summer Box Office smashes — the real smashing will happen when it comes to streaming and how to pay talent for their work.

The Writers Guild of America (WGA) members overwhelmingly gave the “green light” to strike this summer.

It appears 97.85% of WGA members voted to authorize a strike if the WGA and the Alliance of Motion Picture (AMPTP) Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers are unable to get a deal done in the next month.
